Updates to track and accessory libraries will not correctly install unless you have already purchased that library. You can find out your current RR-Track libraries by pulling down the Help menu and choosing About RR-Track; then click on the Libraries tab to get a listing of your track and accessory libraries. You can check for track and accessory library updates by choosing the appropriate link at the upper left.

Installation Instructions:
Upgrading from v4.0 to v4.02:
(1) Download and install the v4.01.149 update. Run RR-Track and verify that you are now at build 4.01.149 (this will allow you to recognize the Lionel FasTrack O library if that is your primary issue).
(2) Pull down the Help menu and choose About RR-Track. Click on the Libraries tab to get a listing of your track and accessory libraries. Go to the appropriate library update page on this website and download and install the current update to that library. After you have finished, run RR-Track and verify that your libraries have been updated.
(3) Download and install the v4.x to v4.02.172 update. This will bring your RR-Track v4 system up to the current release. Run RR-Track and verify your build number as 4.02.172.
Upgrading from v4.01 to v4.02
(1) Start RR-Track and pull down the Help menu and choose About RR-Track. Click on the Libraries tab to get a listing of your track and accessory libraries. Go to the appropriate library update page on this website and download and install the current update to that library. After you have finished, run RR-Track and verify that your libraries have been updated.
(2) Download and install the v4.x to v4.02.172 update. This will bring your RR-Track v4 system up to the current release. Run RR-Track and verify your build number as 4.02.172.
Updating from an earlier build of v4.02
(1) Download and install the v4.x to v4.02.172 update. This will bring your RR-Track v4 system up to the current release. Run RR-Track and verify your build number as 4.02.172.
(2) You may still have to update one or more of your libraries to the current build. To do this start RR-Track and pull down the Help menu and choose About RR-Track. Click on the Libraries tab to get a listing of your track and accessory libraries. After you have finished, run RR-Track and verify that your libraries have been updated.
Updating the RR-Track library loader
If you have just purchased one of the newer libraries ( K-Line, Aristocraft USA) and already have RR-Track v4.02 but don’t want to download and apply the entire current update, you can download and install the v4.02 library loader update. This will allow your RR-Track v4.02 system to recognize the latest libraries.
Updating the RR-Track 3D-Viewer
If you have just purchased one of the HO or N accessory libraries and already have RR-Track v4.02 but don’t want to download and apply the entire current update, you can download and install the texturing 3D-Viewer update. This will allow your RR-Track v4.02 system to properly display these accessory items.

Updates any RR-Track v4.00 or v4.01 installation to v4.02 This update is only for users who have RR-Track v4.0 or v4.01; users with v4.02 should download and apply the RR-Track v4.02 update.
WARNING: You must take care to update all of your libraries to the current 4.3x versions before applying this update. Earlier releases of libraries will not load with v4.02 of RR-Track. If you apply this update without updating your libraries, they will not be available under the Library menu. If you do not care to apply the v4.02 updates yourself, you can order a v4.02 update CD from us for a cost of $20.
