RR-Track v4 TerraMapper is a component applet for RR-Track v4 that you utilize to create realistic terrain items for your layout design. The TerraMapper window is specialized for the purpose of creating and manipulating terrain objects and is not used for general layout design.

With TerraMapper, RR-Track v4 allows you to set up realistic terrain features for your layout. The terrain objects you place in your layout interact closely with 3-D Viewer to automatically generate realistic looking topographic features with minimal user input.

In the TerraMapper layout window you can add terrain base objects (analogous to benches) and contour objects, set contour heights, modify terrain base and contour objects, and remove terrain objects. To do so you use the same methods used to add, modify, and delete items in your RR-Track main layout window.

While there may be a number of TerraMapper windows open at once, there is a one-to-one correspondence between a TerraMapper window and the associated main layout window; i.e. there can be only one TerraMapper window for any main layout window.
