Features and limitations (v1.50.139): This version adds support for more 3D libraries and objects. V1.5 also allows you to either copy the current layout rendering to the Windows Clipboard or save it as a device-independent bitmap file; either allows you to print your rendering using applications such as MS Paint or your favorite image editing or word processor application. RR-Viewer3D has no support for advanced rendering features such as lighting, multiple lighting, textures, fogging, anti-aliasing. V1.5 does not render grouped objects since these are usually used for complex buildings and the RR-Viewer3D has no easy way to determine the relative heights without further information; instead grouped objects have their bounding box drawn in yellow outline. These and other features will be added in forthcoming releases; keep checking our website for the next release of RR-Viewer3D. Future releases of RR-Track will have more scenery and structure objects designed for quick and accurate rendering using RR-Viewer3D.
Bugs: If you are having trouble running RR-Track and RR-Viewer3D at the same time under Windows 95/98 the trick is to start RR-Viewer3D first, then start RR-Track. There is a DLL conflict that occurs with these versions of Windows that does not occur under Windows NT.
Track & accessories: Track that the viewer does not have a dedicated library for is rendered by the default track library which comes with RR-Viewer3D. Here the roadbed is solid filled and only two lines are drawn for the outside rails.
